February Favourites!

Its my February favourites! I have been loving a lot of nice things this month so I thought it would be nice for me to share them with you. I am going to be doing monthly favourites every other month so it doesn't become too repetitive because most of the time I repurchase the same products that I have liked.

First thing is the boots oil of evening primrose face cream. I would say I have normal skin everywhere but my nose which is normal to oily. I ran out of my Nivea soothing day cream so my mum went and bought another one, sadly it was not the same but it was Nivea so I thought they couldn't be that different. Oh how I was wrong. I have this weird thing that I can't put sun cream on more than once because I get thing burning stingy feeling and this is what it felt like, plus it didn't sink in, it felt oily and it gave me spots. When I was finally running out of this, I was so glad. When I went to see My Nan she has bought me a new one and because it wasn't a proper brand and was just boots own I didn't know how good it would be but the moment I finished putting this on it had already sunk into my skin and made my skin feel really smooth and really soft. I will be repurchasing this a lot.

Next is the Essie mint candy apple nail polish. If you saw my haul you will know I had been wanting this for a long time and I had heard great reviews about it. I bought this for £7.99 which is quite pricey but it was so worth it. I am so happy I bought this, it dries in about 10 seconds, it is easy to build up, it is a beautiful colour for summer or winter, day or evening, also I have a really bad top coat which makes all the colour come of on the brush and dyes the polish even when the polish is dry but this one doesn't. I love it.

Next is my khaki green hoodie from Topshop which I also mentioned in my haul. This hoodie is so soft and cozy I just couldn't not put this in my favourites. This jumper goes with pretty much goes with everything and is so easy to just whack over some black leggings and a baggy top. This is also great if you do any clubs like when I went to gymnastics and trampolining it was so easy to just pick this out and know it would be easy to work in and it is comfy.

Next is my P.J bottoms from Primark I also mentioned these in my haul. These bottoms are not to
or thick or fluffy but are still very soft and warm. These are great for sleeping in and just lounging around the house. They were £5, bargain.

Next is going to sound weird but I never used to wear leggings with a top it was always jeans, a skirt or shorts but recently my friend has really got me addicted to wearing them. So I am putting a pair of black leggings in my February favourites. They are just so comfy to wear around the house, they go with everything, they make your look a bit more casual and are easy to move in. I have been loving wearing this with my over sized gradated denim shirt from Hollister £42 which is another one of my February favourites.

Ok this one is again quite weird but at school everyone has this obsession with hand sanitiser. I normally get one from Primark because its only £50 and smells like lemons (I love everything lemon) but as I was in Tesco's I decided I would just get one from there I bought the Tesco's own hand gel. This smells a bit like a sanitary cucumber. I don't remember the exact price but I think it was about £1.

Next is a shampoo and conditioner, by Alberto balsam, that I found in Tesco at the same time I bought the hand sanitiser. I had never heard of this make so I was quite excited to try it. I love trying new hair products because I never really end up repurchasing any but I loved this one. It made my hair feel so light and it smells amazing. I bought the shampoo in coconut and lychee, this smells so good but its so annoying because it smells like a holiday and just makes me want to go to somewhere nice and hot. I got the conditioner in sun kissed raspberry. This smells really sweet and summery perfect for spring and summer.

Next is a pair of boots I have nearly mentioned in every blog post is my black boots with gold hardware from Matalan I got these for £11 on sale down from £22. These go with nearly everything, are really comfy and were well priced. They are also very easy to clean you can just wipe them and the dirt will come off.

Next is two cents I have been loving. The first is a perfume I got as a set from pineapple with a shower gel called fame. This is quite a sporty cent but still quite sweet. The next one is a bit more high end, it's the Calvin Klein IN 2 U. This is a really elegant cent it isn't too sweet or too bitter.

Next is the Wax Lyrical England candle in Spiced Berry. If you read part 2 of my haul you will know I love candles. This smells like Christmas and who doesn't like Christmas. The ones I smelt I loved which were more of the winter cents.

Finally is the Leigh skinny jeans from Topshop. I have loved these since I bought them 8 months ago. I had to look for a pair of jeans for a photo shoot party and the Leigh jeans were the only ones which looked ok because I am bigger around my stomach and hips and have really skinny ankles but when I tried these on I was very pleasantly surprised. Topshop is one of the shops I can shop in unlike New look. I ended up buying a light blue shorter pair which are probably better in the summer but I wear them all year round. I also bought a dark blue longer pair which are probably better in the winter but I also wear these all year round. They look great with everything and are really stretchy as well.

Thank you for reading X
I hope I have given you some choices to maybe consider buying if you were struggling to find any of the products!

MINI HAUL! part 2| H&M, Van Hage

I am Carrying on from yesterdays haul and I have a few more bits to show you. This is only a very very short haul because I showed you most of it yesterday.

First I went to a garden center called van hage to get another candle. I found 2 that I really liked but my mum preferred this one so we got it. I liked them both so I didn't really mind. It is the wax lyrical england candle spiced berry.

Next I went to H&M to look for velvet shorts for my gym display but I ended up not getting them and buying some baggy tops. I have really been into baggy tops thanks to my best friend Georgina Clare who also rights a blog. She always wears baggy tops with black leggings and I have followed her obsession. So, the first one I bought is a plain black one with a aztec print lace on the back. This would look really nice over a pair of jeans or even a skater skirt I would say that it could be worn in the day or evening.

back lace

Next from H&M I bought another baggy top. This was meant for my gym  because I didn't have the leotard. So this one is just a plain black baggy top with rolled up sleeves. This one one would also look nice over jeans or a skater skirt or with leggings.

The last thing I bought in H&M is another baggy top. This one is a white top with multi-coloured specs. Now I wasn't sure if my friend had this one but if I am correct she has 2 plain white ones and a grey one with multi-coloured so I bought it because it was so nice and looked nice on as well. This wold look nice with jeans or leggings.

MINI HAUL! Topshop, Primark, Superdrug etc...

The time has come around, I have done what every girl does best, yes I went shopping. Yay! Since I went shopping and bought quite a few bits and pieces I thought it would be nice to share them with you.

The first thing I bought which I have been wanting for about 4-5 months now is the Essie mint candy apple nail varnish. This is a very light mint green colour. I have been loving this colour recently ever since a bought this shirt in Zara which is a long sleeved blouse with a white pussy bow and white cuffs. I think this colour really goes with dark denim or peachy orange. I bought this from Superdrug for £7.99 which is a bit pricey but I have wanted it for so long. I saw this on Zoella and just thought it was beautiful

Also from Superdrug I bought a few essentials that I have run out of. First some dry shampoo. Now I really would not recommend the batiste dry shampoo especially the Brit version it leave white/grey in the roots of your hair which take like 5-10 minutes to rub in leaving you thinking why didn't I just wash my hair? and also smells horrible and very strong, So I thought I would try out the Superdrug's own one. I bought the pink one called 'heart on your sleeve' and the yellow one called 'spirit of carnival' These were 2 for £2.99. Then just because I had run out and because I change my nail varnish like everyday I thought I would grab some while I was in there, Nail polish remover. This one was £1.09.

Next I went to Topshop :| naughty me! so I picked up a few bits. There was a sale on so I just could restrain my self. So first i got a carkey (army) green cardigan. I have been wanting one of these for a while but I wanted a good quality one that wasn't mega expensive so when I saw this I immediately fell in love with it. Next I saw a really pretty maroon skater girl dress which cinches in at the waist then fans out. This is so simple but gorgeous Now the price nearly knocked me over but I am normally quite reasonably restrained when it comes to shopping but everyone has those days when they need a bit of a splurge, It cost £26 Now your probably thinking for a dress its only a bit over priced but its really plain and simple so it is so expensive (I am such a cheapskate).

green hoodie - £10 on sale

plum dress - £28 and burgundy bag - £2

Next I went to Primark. We all feel the need to go into Primark when we know we have enough clothes and not enough money but what the hell clothes are there to be worn and money is there to be spent(am I right?). Recently I was looking through my PJ's and I noticed I had 1 pair of bottoms so I was just left with lots of tops with nothing to wear with them. So I when I was looking for a pair I saw this really cute pair which are cream with sort of royal blue/Indigo flowers on with little cream dangleys. while I was in Primark I remembered that I can never get the perfect bun because my hair is very long and thick so it is very hard not to make it look like a big cone shape, so I have been looking for a doughnut, Now if you're not aware of what this is it is a big a fat hair band that is shaped like a doughnut and you put all your hair around it and it makes the perfect bun, and that was only £1. Next just as I was about to leave I saw the cutest little handbag. It is a red ish maroon colour bag with a long strap and I thought it looked so vintage. On the tag it said £4 but ended up only being £2 Major Bargain! I don't know if it was on sale or if the man got it wrong but I was not complaining.

burgundy bag - £2

P.J bottoms - £5

Next as I was just wondering around I saw a little stool selling loads of different designer and non designer makeup and beauty items from £2-£5. First I got a Revlon Nail Polish for £3 in the colour 'red bikini'. When I had been shopping with my mum a few weeks before Christmas we both fell in love with it the second we laid eyes on it but sadly it was too expensive but when I saw it for £3 I could not say no. It is a really pretty bright orangey red great for the spring/summer. Then I got Calvin Klein splendid colour unstoppable colour Nail enamel in the colour ' saved by the blue'. This is a beautiful bright deep royal blue with a glossy shimmer in it.
This cost me £2 so it was a complete bargain. I didn't even know Calvin Klein had there own nail polish collection but I just really liked the colour. Then the final thing I got there was the W7 UV nail polish in shade 17. This is a really pretty nude orange colour. I think this is a really nice subtle colour for school, work or even if you just are not having a really bold day. This glows under spotlights. Again this was £2 another Bargain!

Then last but not least I went into BHS, now this is quite a weird thing but I love smelly things (nice smelling things), I judge things by smell because my smell sense is so strong for example I can smell when it is summer from the breeze, I am such a weirdo; anyway, I love scented candles so I went into BHS looking for some and I found one. It is mango scented but smells like a much much sweeter version of a mango!
